BREAKING NEWS: McLaren makes huge announcement ahead of…

McLaren has announced that it has reached an agreement with NTT Data to become a “official partner” of the F1 Academy Team.

Each grand prix team enters a driver in the all-female series with F1-inspired liveries, with McLaren fielding Bianca Bustamante.

McLaren has announced that NTT Data, the main sponsor of IndyCar, will join the team as a partner ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix, the fourth of seven rounds in the 2024 season.

Bustamante is fifth in the standings after one podium in Miami, 90 points behind Alpine’s runaway leader, Abbie Pulling.

“We are delighted to extend our partnership with NTT Data into the world of F1 Academy, a relationship that has grown from strength to strength with our Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team,” said Matt Dennington, McLaren’s co-chief commercial officer.

“We’re proud to work closely with our partners to continue to open up motorsport to female drivers, and we are pleased to have NTT DATA join us on this journey.”
