SAD NEWS: Former Olympic Gymnast Aly Raisman Passes Away at 35 After Brave Battle with Brain Cancer

 

 

Aly Raisman, the celebrated Olympic gymnast and former captain of the U.S. women’s gymnastics team, has passed away at the age of 35. Raisman, known for her inspirational performances and resilience, had been courageously battling brain cancer for several years.

 

Raisman’s impact on gymnastics was profound. She won multiple Olympic medals, including golds on the floor exercise and in the team all-around at the 2012 London Olympics, and a gold on the balance beam and silver in the team competition at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games.
